My Name is Oliver, friends just call me Oli.

After dreaming and researching for years, I finally took on the project of building my individual dream 911 while the world was upside down with global lockdowns in 2021. Today, some of you might know me and my car from Instagram, where I documented my journey under @blue911st.

During that process, I got to know countless experts and firms within the Porsche world. Handling almost every single part, wire, and bolt myself during that project enabled me to build up an in-depth understanding of air-cooled 911s and the process behind rebuilding them.

Since then I continued to surround myself with like-minded enthusiasts at countless events and keep developing my expertise with every mile behind the wheel.

With Build2Sample, I am combining the knowledge and network I built up during the past years with the skillset that comes along with my main profession and academic education in finance.

So let me be clear: Building one single car did certainly not make me an expert mechanic. However, it has provided me with very detailed and specific knowledge about these cars and projects, which in combination with my professional background, enables me to consult others in their pursuit of the same dream!
